“Whatever you do, do it with kindness and love.”

Hey, I am Alessandro!

I often joke that I’m 100% Made in Italy (though I should probably work on that one) since my life has pretty much always revolved around food, design, and people. I have a deep passion for brand design, motion, and typography, and I love to combine different practices to craft meaningful brand experiences.

I am currently exploring the interconnection between good design and the sense of belonging, as I am fascinated by design that serves a greater purpose and significantly impacts the communities we live in.

GAGA is a cross-discipline platform that shines a spotlight on emerging talents from De Montfort University, allowing everyone to celebrate other students and gain recognition for their work.

To make this project come to life, I combined typography, motion and strategy with the aim of developing a vibrant, inspirational, and inclusive brand, highlighting the commitment to fostering creativity and exploration. The brand speaks with the passionate enthusiasm, encouraging students to push their artistic potential and bring their inner spark to life.

Mangi Come Parli

BRANDING CAMPAIGN TYPOGRAPHY

For this project I created a food branding for a cook-at-home meal kits that provides nonna-quality pasta dishes. Starting from the statement “tangible intangible”, I connected it to the cultural heritage and Italy’s most iconic food: pasta. This project highlights how pasta does embody both the physical (tangible) and non-physical (intangible) elements of Italian culture.

Reflecting on my journey as an Italian who moved to the United Kingdom to pursue the dream of becoming a designer, I wanted to pay tribute and express my gratitude to those who shaped the person I am today: my grandparents and family.

Course You Can!

BRANDING CAMPAIGN

“Course You Can!” is the supportive partner for working parents, which offers a convenient solution for creating healthy and delicious three-course meals with their children and fight the costs of living crisis.

The brand understands the challenges of being a working parent and their mission is to empower confidence in people, reassuring them that they can provide their children with nutritious meals, even after a busy day at work. After they finish work, they can just stop at their local Tesco to grab a PowerBox from the dedicated area.
